Carbon Tax Please
Civil nations use taxes and other financial tools to shape a more positive future for their children....and to prevent self-destruction.
When taxes were invented by those who were trying to lead the many toward a safer future, they knew that taxes were important for shaping outcomes of that people now and generations from now. Monstrous carbon molecules are causing our new century to become unlivable and we need to act to save our selves...and our own children.
97% of scientists know and agree that our climate has changed in the last 150 years and humans have caused that change by releasing monstrous molecules carelessly, thoughtlessly into our shared atmosphere, monstrous molecules of carbon as Cx that have caused temperatures to escalate and cause wild shifts, causing polar regions to melt and seas to rise while monstrous storms have hit millions in the last decade.
James Hansen of NASA has helped lead the way to unearth and expose the hidden links between emissions and these terrible costs and consequences for all on earth that are destroying life and land, climate and oceans.
But those that have caused the unacceptable emissions and filled privatized, deregulated bank accounts with mounds of empty numbers for only one private self with the looting of our public worlds and toxic emissions have caused these terminal conditions of, by, for All.
Is there a doctor in the house? Life on earth is dying.....but we can revive living systems again if those that cause the trauma will step out of the way.
James Hansen has sounded the alarm and we need to listen. He has the vision and wisdom and ability and will to save your own childrens' futures.
But we need to listen to him and other scientists who have learned to dig beyond the obvious to change the course of history.
We can afford no less at this moment in history.
